At Al Vicoletto, the paths of three Italian Food entrepreneurs combine to create a New York restaurant experience that guarantees the best of Italian tradition. Al Vicoletto does just that, bringing a touch of Italian style to Union Square.

Al Vicoletto is open from lunch until after dinner all week, and also offers brunch on the weekends. Aiming to perfectly blend the Italian lifestyle with the fast-paced ways of the Big Apple, Al Vicoletto offers quick lunches, take out, and Italian aperitifs. There is also wine bar with an extensive selection, all in a warm atmosphere full of charm.

Chef Alessandro

Meet Our Chef

Alessando is a self-taught chef born in Molfetta, a small city located in South Italy. He describes his cuisines as a blend of Italian and Mediterranean. For several years Alessandro ran his own restaurant in Italy before deciding to travel to the United States.

Moving to New York in 2013 to gain experience & explore different ideas in the world of culinary was the biggest step in his career. Since then, he's worked with all types of italian cuisine in well known restaurants  like, Masseria, Gradisca, Uva and many more.

Finally, he found a place that inspired him the most, and is now the Executive Chef for a small family-style restaurant called Al Vicoletto, located in Union Square. Al Vicoletto is open to everyone & anyone who craves real italian home made food!
